Tulip Festival

We went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point last night and it was super busy, but fun. Here are some of my amature pictures I took.
Some tulips...
The famous brial spot. I must admit, I am a huge fan of wrought iron. I think it's so classic.

Isaac didn't really like us sitting him on the grass, he kept trying to get up on his toes and hands, but he never got both hands down for long. He kept looking at his hand with a disgusted look on his face. I guess he isn't a fan of grass and pine needles. Imagine that.

Matt tried to get him to pose, but this is all that we could get him to do.

I tried a little while later, without much success.

He did finally decide that the flowers might be fun to touch.

I like the contrast of his "I'm on the verge of being upset" face with the pretty flowers.

I took this one as we were leaving. I didn't know they had so many water features there.

I messed with my camera for a while to get this shot. I didn't know I could get it to focus so closely and still look ok. I was pretty excited. Ask my husband, he probably was sick of me taking pictures of this tree.
Spring is really here in Utah and I love it! ... well at least until tomorrow when it's supposed to snow again. It wouldn't be Spring in Utah without a couple of snow storms, right?

Great pictures! I still need to make it down to Thanksgiving Point. Of course our spring has once again been foiled by another bout of winter. I love those gardens down there.
