Waking Up...

For those of you who know me well, know that I am so not a morning person. I really do try, but for some reason I still have trouble. Lately though, as I am still trying to find the balance and routine of having two children with one still waking up at all hours of the night, there is a bright spot. Isaac has been super adorable in the mornings lately. I will have gotten up with Logan at 3,4 or 5 am and gone back to sleep, and Isaac will come and wake me up. His morning routine is to come into my room, tap me on the shoulder and then climb under the covers to snuggle with me till I wake up. I LOVE it.

Some recent pictures of the boys. Aunt Debbie sent them their shirts. Aren't they cute?

Isaac was trying to help Logan smile, what a great helper.

There is that smile from Logan!

Beatboxing

I found Isaac one day beatboxing and doing the robot. I wasn't able to capture that day on video, but last week he was talking to his little brother and just started beatboxing in his face. I tried to get as much as it as I could, but of course, when I started recording him, Isaac wanted to see. Sorry if this video makes you a little motion sick.

Logan

Well, so much for playing catch up through the year, I will however show you some pictures of the new baby. Logan James Printy was born on December 2nd weighing 9 lbs, 3 oz. It's probably a good thing he was a week and a half early.

June

Isaac "helping" me make chocolate cream pie.

I tried to entertain Isaac one day with water colors, thinking, it won't be too messy right? Ha! Lesson learned. He did entertain himself though, so it was a success.

Matt's work party was at Lagoon this year. We took the boy and let him try all the kiddie rides. He had a great time, although I seem to have failed at capturing a smile in any of the pictures. Oh well, maybe next time.

The classic boat ride

Riding a horse on the carousel.

By this time I think he was pretty ready to go home and take a nap. This is how he had to sit on the train ride to look at all the animals. Silly kid.

May

May we celebrated Isaac's 2nd birthday. I made him a basketball cake since he loves sports so much and we got him a hoop and ball. He really likes to play "baket ball" with his Dad.

We also took a trip out to South Carolina to visit my sister Natalie. We rented a house on lake Murray close to where she lived and spent time playing on the water and visiting some fun places in the South. It was tons of fun!

Ready for the picture? Heh! Too bad.

Isaac loved being able to play with his cousin Eli while we were there.

Out on the water with Mom and Dad.

April

April is Easter time, so here are a few pictures from the couple of Easter egg hunts Isaac got to do this year

Happily enjoying his spoils.

Classic Jensen family Easter party. He was so careful to get everything all around him. It was pretty funny to watch

Here is a hunt at our house with all the Printys

We went one day to the Discovery Gateway and let Isaac play around.

March

I know, I am a HUGE slacker, but I decided to play some serious catch up for anyone who even still looks at this blog. I will begin in March of this year with some pics of what we(mostly Isaac) have been up to this year.

Here he is modeling the snow boots I bought him on clearance for this winter. He loved putting them on and running around the kitchen.

We spent a lot of time at the park, the slide is his favorite.

Here he is running away from me telling him to eat his popsicle in the kitchen.

Isaac wanted to help me make some cookies one Sunday so I got him all ready to help with his chef hat and apron. He of course was a big help...at eating all of the chocolate chips out of the dough.

Obsession

This is what Isaac looks like when he can't find his "baket ball"
Here he is when he finally has as many of them as he can get his hands on.

He has been doing basketball drills using the basketball and our dining room chairs. It is going to be hard to wait until his birthday to get him his little basketball hoop.

I wonder what it's like to live a life where one is motivated to to what is best and right all the time. I wish I could be like that.

Arizona

So, I'm a little slow with keeping up with what is going on, but I thought I'd finally post at least one photo from our Thanksgiving trip to AZ. Pictures never do a sunset justice, but I had to share it. Watching the sunset over the desert made me want to chase the sun. Loved it!

Family Pictures

We had some family pictures taken a couple weeks ago. Here are some of my favorites. There are so many great ones of Isaac. I sometimes can't belive such a gosh darn cute boy is ours.

Halloween

So, Isaac dressed up as a garden gnome this year. I made the hat, suspenders and shoes, so they are not as good as they could be, but I had fun doing it. Here are a few pictures...
This is at our wards trunk or treat, he kept his hat on for a little bit because I think he was annoyed at the rain.
Here he is getting in the candy bowl. He has not had too much sugar in the past, but now that he has tried it, he of course can't get enough.

This is what happened most every time I tried to get a full body picture of the boy.

At last, success!

Here is one more that I liked where you can see the whole outfit. The only problem was his shoe cover was on crooked. Oh well, Maybe I can fix up the hat a little better and dress him up as a Chistmas elf later this year. We'll see.
